Christine provides individual therapy to adults, adolescents and school-aged children. Christine offers treatment for a wide range of presenting issues, including (but not limited to):
PTSD and trauma (including sexual assault)
Grief and loss
Relationship difficulties (individual therapy only).
Experience / Area of Expertise
Christine has extensive experience providing therapy to adults accessing treatment in a private setting, and trauma-related counselling to survivors of sexual assault and asylum seekers. Christine has delivered individual and group therapy to people suffering from anxiety, and she has provided psychoeducation and debriefing to front line emergency service workers. Christine has vast experience conducting assessments and writing reports for clients in a variety of settings (both within government and non-for-profit organisations).
Please note, Christine does not offer services to family members engaged in Family Court and Federal Circuit Court child dispute proceedings.
Christine has completed trainings in a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. These include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and trauma-based therapies.
Qualifications & Training
Christine is a fully registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and The Australian Sociological Association (TASA).
Appointment Costs & Rebates
Appointments with Christine can be booked through our online booking system.
Christine provides Medicare rebates of $86 per session. You need to obtain a referral from your GP to be eligible for this rebate. If you have a private health insurance with extras, you may be able to claim through it (without a GP referral).
