Therapeutic Approach
Julia is a warm and inclusive psychologist who works in a person-centred and trauma-informed way, focusing first and foremost on a sense of safety for the client. This allows for the sensitive exploration of problems and symptoms at the client's pace and facilitates therapy as a process of discovery that includes, but also goes beyond, skills-based short-term intervention, and supports the integration of past trauma as well as the strengthening of a person's sense of self, i.e. one’s relationship to oneself, others, as well as a person’s unique way of being in the world.
